This interior design project transforms two adjoining flats into a cohesive 5 BHK residence spanning approximately 1800 square feet of carpet area. The merger enhances spatial continuity, enabling improved cross ventilation and abundant natural light throughout the home. As a result, dependence on artificial cooling and lighting is significantly reduced. The design language embraces this passive environmental strategy, with interiors kept light, simple, and rooted in earthy tones. Soft textures, and uncluttered layouts create a calm, breathable atmosphere, ensuring thermal comfort while maintaining aesthetic warmth, functionality, and a strong connection to the surrounding environment for everyday living efficiency.

Admission Labs Office is conceived as an experiential center for study abroad opportunities, located on College Road, Nashik. The design fosters trust, aspiration, and meaningful conversations, creating a space where students feel both inspired and at ease.

A warm palette of natural wood paired with muted terracotta panels establishes a calm yet distinctive identity. Perforated panels subtly filter light, symbolizing that hope is always present, while architecturally defining spaces without sacrificing openness. A flexible display wall allows content to evolve over time, reflecting adaptability and encouraging deeper engagement.

Balanced with soft grey tones, the environment feels cohesive, contemporary, and purposeful. The design, in essence, becomes a spatial narrative—guiding students with clarity and confidence as they embark on their journey toward global opportunities.

The workspace is designed as a calm and refined environment, combining natural materials with a clean, modern layout. A consistent palette of warm wood, soft neutrals, and subtle textures creates a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

The reception area features a simple marble desk set against wooden panels, giving it a neat and elegant character. Across the office, built-in storage, panelled walls, and small display niches add both function and visual depth.

The lounge and meeting areas are designed to feel comfortable yet minimal, with soft furnishings, natural light, and indoor plants bringing warmth to the space.

Overall, the design focuses on simplicity, functionality, and a balanced work environment that feels both efficient and inviting.

“archiving hampi” is our effort to observe and document the rich layers of Hampi’s architecture, landscape, culture, and people. For us, this series is not just a record but also a process of discovery. As architects, it gave us an opportunity to closely study and experience the varied scales of spaces, their organisations, and their relationship with human life. The process of capturing these moments—across ruins, settlements, and everyday life—was as enriching as the stories that emerged from them. This series stands as both a visual narrative and an architectural exploration reflecting our fascination with the timelessness and cultural depth of Hampi.

CA Office : Ar. Palak Poddar

'No Nonsense Meals' is a refurbished breakfast spot in Aurangabad's bustling Connaught market. Previously a fast-food joint, the space lacked natural light and connection to the outdoors.

The redesign transforms it into a bright, versatile venue for breakfast lovers, with space for small workshops or events. The front façade, featuring fixed glass and glass bricks, lets natural light animate the interiors throughout the day.

The earthy finishes reflect the brand’s focus on healthy, honest meals. Lime paint above and red oxide stone-grit plaster with stone flooring below, divided by a 15mm granite inlay, create a “shallow tray” aesthetic, making the sunken site feel inviting and warm.

It’s a space that brings people together over good food and meaningful conversations.

No Nonsense Meals : Aditya Thole Architects

This exhibition was  conceptualised as a way to put forth the method and medium of practice at a for architecture (AFA) which has primarily been that of model making, since the establishment of the office some twelve years ago. Practice for AFA is understood more in the form of an atelier or a work-shop which is known for a certain way of doing things,approach to questions, craft, and other related qualities. Like most good ateliers AFA aspires to produce ideas for good architecture and a method and modality of putting these ideas forward has been the physical model. 

The photo series aimed to capture the curiosity and interest of diverse individuals. Regardless of background, age, profession, or group, everyone perceives art and architecture with the same wonder and appreciation.

Make / Believe exhibition : A for Architecture

The Wadiyar Center for Architecture is a striking 2-acre campus that seamlessly blends heritage with contemporary design. This vibrant educational hub elegantly integrates two historic buildings—the library and the administrative block—into its fabric, ensuring that the campus retains its rich architectural legacy.

These heritage structures are thoughtfully preserved and prominently featured, offering a bridge between past and present.

Complementing these historic elements are modern learning spaces designed with an open-plan layout that promotes interaction and creativity. At the heart of the campus is a spacious central courtyard, a versatile area that fosters a sense of community and serves as a venue for various events and classes. This open courtyard is not merely an aesthetic feature but a functional space that enhances the educational experience, allowing for both formal gatherings and informal social interactions.

Wadiyar Center for Architecture - Mysuru

Located on the banks of the Godavari River, the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Nashik is a prominent pink stone Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. It features completely hand-carved designs by the artists and saints of the sanstha. The temple serves as a center for community service, spiritual learning, and cultural preservation. At the Lepakshi Temple, visitors are greeted by a magnificent sculpture of Lord Bala Ganesha, setting the tone for the awe-inspiring artistry within. This temple is celebrated for its intricate sculptures, including a captivating collonade lining the passageways. It's a true treasure trove of timeless art, boasting famous frescos and mural paintings.
Built in the Vijayanagara architectural style, the temple houses remarkable features such as Asia's largest fresco on the ceiling of the ardha mantapa. Within the temple grounds, an impressive granite boulder stands to the east, adorned with carvings of a multi-hooded serpent sheltering a Linga beneath its coils.
